Donna Lothario Caliente

Nina stood in her back yard, harvesting fruit off the trees, and thinking the most pleasant thoughts. Suddenly she felt the most intense pain that she had ever felt before. What had been just annoying cramps, were now full grown labor pains.
Nina screamed out loudy from the pain. Cassandra Goth was standing in front of the house and heard Nina scream. Running back to where Nina stood, Cassandra watched as Nina gave birth to her first child where she stood.
Nina gave birth to a little girl. She named her Donna...after her father. Cassandra watched as Nina held her newborn daughter close. She was a beautiful little girl. In fact...she looked an awful lot like Cassandra's daughter Casey when she was first born.
Cassandra continued to stand, watching mother and daughter. Nina was oblivious to anyone but her little girl. She played with her, holding her up towards the skies with a prayer of thankfulness to God for giving her such a beautiful child.
Nina began to get somewhat uncomfortable. Cassandra just stood there, saying nothing. "Does Cassandra know the truth?" Nina thought to herself. She didn't dislike Cassandra. In fact, she had always liked her. But, what must Cassandra be thinking? Cassandra was deep in thought. She was beginning to understand what her little brother Alexander had been telling her. Of course, she hadn't believed him. Cassandra remembered the day of her wedding, long ago. Nina had warned her then about Don. But Cassandra had been so much in love and had married him anyway. She thought that once they were married then Don would remain faithful to her. Cassandra now realized that she had been very wrong about Don. After congratulating Nina, she quickly left. Nina had a beautiful baby girl. And Don Lothario was the father.

Don and Nina

Don often stopped by Nina's house...actually, it was his house... for a short visit. With Mortimer gone, Don didn't feel much need to be careful. Cassandra didn't have a clue about his relationship with Nina. Of course, he didn't know about Nina's confession made on their wedding day. Alexander had suspicions of his own about Don, however. Ever since he had seen them kiss outside the Goth mansion those many months ago. Alexander wasn't sure that they had seen him...that he had indeed noticed the kiss that passed between them. He had been trying to get proof of this relationship, but had been so busy with school. Tonight he had followed Don. And tonight, there was no doubt of the type of relationship Don and Nina shared. And Alexander was certain he knew that Don was the father of Nina's baby. He was angry! How dare Don cheat on his sister, Cassandra. Should he tell her what he knew for certain?
Though Nina was due to have her baby very soon, she and Don continued their affair. After making love, Nina told Don of several things that needed to be repaired around the house. "Just call a repairman in the morning. I'll pay for them." Don told Nina. Why should he bother to fix anything. He wasn't a handyman. Anyway, there was plenty of money to hire someone else to do those manual jobs.
A repairman came the next morning. Nina looked out the window as she ate her breakfast. The sun was shining brightly. Yes, it looked like it was going to be a beautiful day.
After breakfast, Nina went outside to work in the yard for a while. She tended the fruit trees that Kaylynn had planted. She harvested some of the lemons. Nina had pleasant thoughts of the night before as she enjoyed the feel of the sunshine beating down upon her.

Angela and Alexander

Alexander spent hours in his room, studying, writing term papers, doing homework. His main focus was to make the best grades possible. He didn't focus on his "social" life. He and Dirk were pretty good friends, as well as a couple other friends that he would occasionally study with. As far as he and Angela were concerned, it was over...whatever "it" was. Apparently things hadn't happened between them the way he wanted them to. But, he couldn't find any fault with Angela. She had never promised him anything. He had just been hoping for more. Angela and Lileth stayed busy as well. They kept their grades up, but they continued to work out and keep themselves physically fit. Who would want to marry them if they just let themselves go and got fat?
Angela thought of Dustin...and she thought of Alexander. She had seen the hurt in Alexander's eyes that night. She'd never meant to hurt him. The thing was...she really did find him so very attractive! Did she really want to stay with Dustin for old times sake...or did she want to persue her attraction towards Alexander and see where that would lead? She was so confused!
Alexander thought of Angela...he couldn't help it! It was so hard...seeing her every day...yet not being able to reach out to her...to touch her hair...her skin...to kiss her lips. Yes, Alexander still had it bad for Angela.

Dustin and Angela

Dustin hadn't seen Angela for several weeks. He was on campus and decided to surprise her with a visit. Angela was happy to see Dustin...that is...until he started questioning her about why she hadn't tried to see him in over two weeks. "Is there anything I should know about?" asked Dustin. He knew how hard it was to stay together when you didn't get to see each other often. He was living at home, while Angela was off on campus. Angela looked down at the ground. Should she even bother to mention her little flirtation with Alexander? No...that's all there was to that...just some harmless flirting on her part.
Alexander wasn't very happy when he saw Dustin. "What is he doing here?" thought Alexander. He didn't really have any quarrel with Dustin...but they did share an attraction towards Angela. He knew that Angela and Dustin had been high school sweethearts. But...now that she was away at college they rarely even got to see each other. Alexander was hoping that he and Angela could be more than friends...much more than friends! Alexander watched as Angela and Dustin held hands. He thought he was going to be sick as he dropped his drink on the floor. Why had he even thought that things were over between Dustin and Angela. They were very obviously still "on". As Dustin went to get a drink, Alexander stood beside Angela. He silently stared into her eyes. Though there were no words exchanged, Alexander knew that Angela had chosen to stay with Dustin. Angela was confused. She couldn't hurt Dustin, yet she could see the hurt in Alexander's eyes as he looked at her. She didn't know what to say...she couldn't say anything. Alexander excused himself and went into his room.
Angela and Dustin shared a tender kiss. It was nice...but..."What would it be like to kiss Alexander?" thought Angela. Why was she thinking of Alexander when she was kissing Dustin? Would Angela and Dustin remain together after all?

Is It Love?

Alexander leaned in closely and whispered softly in Angela's ear. "I just love your...painting," Alexander said. Angela placed her hand on Alexander's shoulder. She laughed softly. "Oh yeah, the boy's got it bad!" thought Angela. This was certainly not the first time a boy had been so attracted to her.
"Thank you," said Angela to Alexander. She found Alexander extremely attractive...but why? He was so opposite physically from Dustin. She was attracted to his dark hair...and she even liked his glasses! Angela wondered what she would do if he tried to kiss her just then. The fact that he didn't try made her think about it that much more. Alexander was just too shy to even try to kiss Angela. She was way out of his league. He was just some rich, nerdy guy while she was beautiful, and oh..so..feminine..and hot!
Angela watched as Dirk kissed Lileth. Dirk had loved Lileth since high school, and she had loved him in return. Angela didn't doubt that the two of them would most likely marry as soon as they graduated from college...if not sooner.

A Toast To College Life

Though they weren't allowed to have alcohol on campus, Angela, Alexander and Lileth made a toast to a successful first year at college. Alexander stood between the twins and thought he was a lucky guy. Though Lileth didn't really do it for him, Angela sure did! He was very attracted to her. But what about her boyfriend back home...Dustin, wasn't it? "Here's to new friendships!" Alexander said, raising his glass of sparkling water in a toast. Angela and Lileth joined in.Alexander asked Angela to dance. Now he was glad that he had suffered through all those awkward hours of dance lessons while growing up. Angela was impressed with Alex's dancing. Yes, she thought he was cute in a geeky kind of way. There was definately an attraction between them...in fact...Angela had 2 bolts for Alexander and he had 2 bolts towards her! Studying was a fact of life for all of them. Their social life was often put on "hold" as they struggled with their lessons and getting all their assignments done.
They were all required to take art classes and had to paint a portrait for their final. Lileth chose to paint Dirk. "Please, just do a good job," Dirk told Lileth. He wasn't sure how this was going to turn out!
Dirk got to paint Lileth for his final project in art class. She had done a good job after all in painting him. Dirk thought Lileth was beautiful and wanted to project her beauty on the easel. Could he do it? One of the college Professors stopped by often. He kept a close eye on "his students" and seemed to enjoy just hanging out with the young adults.
