Angela and Alex At Home

The older Alex became, the more like his father he looked! Angela was so glad that he looked like Alexander. And she knew that Alexander would have been so proud of Alex.
Alex brought his cousin, Georgette, home from school with him one day.
Though it was winter and cold outside, the pool was heated. Georgette changed into her suit and went swimming. Angela watched Georgette as she worked in the yard.
Tiring of her work, Angela decided to join Georgette in the pool. The water looked so warm, and Angela was beginning to get a little cold. Georgette got out of the way as Angela made a beautiful dive into the water. When Cassandra came over later that evening to pick up Georgette, she joined them in a swim. She and Angela even gossipped about one of the old professors they had when they were in college. It looked as though Angela was ready to join the world again. It felt good to see old friends again...especially Dustin.

Angela and Dustin

Angela had let her hair grow longer. Rather than get it styled, she had just pulled it back into a ponytail. With Alex now in school, Angela found herself alone much too much. She decided to look for a job. As her LTW is to be a general in the military, of course, nothing came up for several days in the military field. Angela decided to just hold out until an opening came in the field she wanted. After all...it wasn't as though she had to work.
One evening, Dustin appeared on her doorstep. Angela was so happy to see him, that she grabbed him and kissed him hard on the lips. "Woah! Now wait a minute, Angela!" said Dustin, "You shouldn't have done that. I'm a married man!" Dustin was glad to see Angela, and it was clear that Angela had missed Dustin. Angela asked Dustin inside. Dustin stepped inside, looking around. Yes, he had spent many hours here when he was a teenager. Things hadn't changed much in the old home. Dustin turned to Angela, hugged her and said, "I've thought about you often, Angela. I'm so sorry about Alexander...and your parents."
Alex watched as his mother and Dustin continued to hold each other, looking into each other's eyes. If anyone had been walking by the old Pleasant home, they would have seen something shocking. Angela and Dustin were kissing passionately! That would have definately been something for the gossips in the town to talk about!

Angela and Alex

After Alex's birth, Angela once again felt as though her life had a purpose. She still thought often of her husband, Alexander...and of her parents. It was so tragic...the way they had all perished in the fire. Why hadn't she died as well??? She had asked herself that very question so many times. Now she believed it was because of Alex. She had been pregnant with Alex. She saw Alexander in Alex. He looked so much as Alexander had looked.
Angela did hire a nanny to help her with Alex. She was a "stay-at-home" mom, living off the inheritence she had gotten from Alexander. She lived in her family home. It was all paid for, so she didn't have to worry about a house payment. She planned to get a job, but not until Alex was in school. She had already lost so much. She didn't want to lose these precious years watching Alex grow up.
Alex usually work up very early, and would cry for Angela to let him out of his crib. "All right, Alex. And good morning to you too!" Angela said, as she slowly got out of bed.
In the evenings Angela liked to go outside and swing. Somehow it seemed to calm her...to remind her of her younger days, and of happier times. Alex would watch from the deck. When it began to get late, Angela would take Alex inside. She would feed him his dinner, bathe him, and put him to bed. It was a solitary life...yet it suited Angela...for now.
The ghost of Daniel was the only one that made an appearance. Daniel never tried to frighten his daughter or grandaughter. He just hung around the yard, as though protecting them from harm.

Toddler Alex Goth

Angela looked at her son. She saw Alexander in his face. He looked so much like his dad. Angela was glad. In a way, Alexander would live on through his son.
Angela changed Alex's hairstyle.

Angela Greives

Angela had a difficult time coping with the deaths of her husband and her parents. She would frequently being to cry as she thought of the fact that they were now gone and would never return. Alexander...who would never get to see his only child. It was too much for Angela to comprehend.
Lileth frequently stopped by to visit with Angela. She had her two boys and a wonderful husband to take care of, but she missed her parents as well. She felt sorry for Angela...to lose her husband while she was pregnant. They had had their differences, but Lileth wanted to help Angela in any way she could.
Angela was very glad that Lileth and Dirk had decided to visit with her this particuliar evening. Because Angela was going to have her baby.
Angela had a little boy. She named him Alex...after his dad. She wished so much that Alexander had lived long enough to meet their child. It was sad...yet she was happy that her son was born. Dirk was so happy for Angela. He loved his boys and wanted even more children. He just had to pursuade Lileth to go along with it. She wasn't. The twins kept them more than busy!
Lileth held her little nephew as he looked up at her. "I think you're going to look like your dad, little guy,"Lileth said to Alex.

Death At The Pleasant Home

The fire quickly spread. A passer-by ran into the yard and watched the fire, then suddenly left as quickly as she had come. Angela stayed further back from the flames...yet...they all seemed to be at a loss of what to do to stop the fire.
Alexander was the first to succumb to the fire. Daniel watched as Alexander struggled, and lost his battle.
Mary Sue was the next to die in the flames. The fire had spread so quickly she had been unable to escape.
Daniel was the last to die in the fire. If he had been thinking, perhaps he could have jumped into the swimming pool??? So tragic...to have so much water within a few feet of where he stood.
Angela thought of her mother as the grim reaper took the souls of her beloved family. How she escaped the fire, she would never know. Now there was only Angela...and her unborn baby.

A Fire at the Pleasant Home

Angela woke up after a good nights sleep. She had really gotten much bigger these last few weeks. Her baby was due soon, and she would be glad to have this pregnancy over and done with. She had been sick just about every day of her pregnancy. Looking out the window, she was glad to see the sun shining brightly.
Mary Sue had fixed a pancake breakfast. She and Alexander were sitting at the table, eating and talking, when Angela came in. Angela sat down and began to eat. She felt ravenous! She was eating for two!
After breakfast, the family decided it was a good day to get a little work done in the yard. The leaves were falling faster than the gardener could keep up with. Alexander and Angela took a break from their work to have a water balloon fight.
Getting back to work, Alexander decided to try a new way to get rid of all those leaf piles. It was too hard to haul them all to the compost. Alexander decided to burn the leaves instead. He bent down and set the piles of leaves on fire.
Alexander had forgotten how dry the weather had been lately. Somehow the fire jumped from the leaf pile, setting one of the flower bushes on fire as well! Mary Sue and Daniel ran over to see if they could help Alexander put out the fire.

Angela Pleasant Graduates

Angela stood proudly in her cap and gown. She had done it! She was now a graduate of the Sim State University with a degree in Political Science!
Angela and Alexander celebrated her graduation with one last dance before Angela left the campus to move back to Pleasantview.
Man, that Alexander could really dance! Even Dirk joined in on the celebration.
Angela changed for the trip back home.
Alexander followed Angela outside for one last kiss. He couldn't bear to see her leave...even if he would be joining her in a few days!
