Kaylynn stood grasping her abdomen. She had never felt such pain in all her life! Yet she couldn't wait to hold her baby in her arms.
Donald lay in his mother's arms, staring up at her with his big green eyes. That was no surprise, since both his mom and dad had green eyes. He was a beautiful baby...and healthy. Kaylynn smiled. "This is the greatest thing I've ever done. I don't know if I will ever be happier than I am right now!"
Kaylynn was a wonderful mom. She loved taking care of Donald. She wanted to enjoy every moment with him that she could because she knew that she would have to return to work in just a few short weeks. She loved feeding him...
She loved the way he laughed out loud and the way he looked at her with such love.
Kaylynn hired a nanny to help with Donald...especially at night. She needed to get some sleep, and with no one but herself to depend on, she needed the help. Anyway, she wanted Donald to get used to being around someone else because she would be starting work soon. Donald and his nanny seemed to get along well. Kaylynn was relieved!
