Things were beginning to turn around in the Broke family. Dustin got a job as an adventurer, and Brandi was also able to get a job. They were beginning to save money now and planned to move into a bigger, nicer home soon. Dustin continuted to help Brandi, not only financially, but was a kind of father-figure to his two younger brothers.
Brandi spent her free time with her children. She loved having them around and would have had a dozen more if she had been blessed to have met someone else. Since Skip's death, Brandi had concentrated on raising her boys. Dustin was doing better than she ever imagined. Beau was doing well in school, and Christopher was growing up so fast.
