The next birthday was Beau's. Brandi invited the Dreamer family to the party. Brandi and Darren had continued to see each other, and were definately getting closer. Brandi read to her two sons as they sat near her on the couch. She realized that soon, much too soon, her boys would be grown and no longer interested in having their "mom" read to them.
Beau stood before his cake as little brother Christopher looked on. Dirk gave it his best shot at making a lot of noise with his noise maker.
Darren joined in, attempting to make more noise than Dirk. Then Christopher joined in. Beau made a wish, then blew out the candles on his cake.
Beau is now a teenager. He strongly favors his father and older brother Dustin, though better looking, I believe!
When it was time to leave, Darren held Brandi's hands. "I don't like leaving you...you know that, don't you?" asked Darren to Brandi, staring at her. When he looked at her like that...why...Brandi just felt weak in the knees! "I'll call you later!" Darren said as he left for home. Brandi sighed, and sat down on the couch before she fell down!
