Dustin could hardly wait for his firstborn child to get here. He was hoping for a boy, but a girl would have been okay too. It's just that he had always been around boys...no girls...except his mom, of course.
Dustin rubbed Dina's belly, hoping to feel a little kick or a move from his child. He was more impatient than even Dina was...and
she was the one who was getting so big and uncomfortable.
Dina finally went into labor one day when Dustin had already left for work. She was the only one at home...yet she was ready and had been waiting for this day for a long time. She wasn't prepared for the severity of the pain though.
Dina held her newborn son. She and Dustin had decided on the name Dick if they had a boy. Dick had blond hair like both his mom and dad. He got his dad's blue eyes instead of Dina's green eyes.
Dina feeds Dick his very first bottle.
