Nina worked the day of Donna's birthday. She planned a simple celebration...just a birthday cake...and no guests. Nina was just too tired tonight. Nina took Donna to her cake. "Happy birthday, baby!" said Nina. Nina blew out the candles, and Donna then transformed into a toddler.
Donna was truly a beautiful girl. She looked exactly like her father. Nina tried to see her own features in the little face, and could not. She only saw Don looking back at her.
"Oh, the boys are going to love you in a few years," thought Nina. She was proud of her daughter's beauty.
Donna quickly learned to use her looks to her advantage. She had only to look as though she were going to cry and her mother, or even her nanny, would quickly pick her up. She learned how to get her way at a very early age. Yes, life was much easier if you were beautiful.
