The wedding day had finally arrived. Most of the preparations had been completed. The wait was finally over. Don had stayed very busy lately between the responsibilities of his new job at the hospital, and finishing all the last-minute details of the wedding. At least being busy had kept him out of trouble. Mortimer watched as Don kissed Cassandra. He shuddered and turned quickly away.
No, Mortimer hadn't been able to stop this wedding. But he still had a few tricks up his sleeve yet. "Just wait until Don sees the guests I've invited," thought Mortimer. "I can always have this joke of a marriage annulled if I have to."
Mortimer had invited just a few of his closest friends: Kaylynn Langerak, and Dina and Nina Caliente.
