The older Alex became, the more like his father he looked! Angela was so glad that he looked like Alexander. And she knew that Alexander would have been so proud of Alex.
Alex brought his cousin, Georgette, home from school with him one day.
Though it was winter and cold outside, the pool was heated. Georgette changed into her suit and went swimming. Angela watched Georgette as she worked in the yard.
Tiring of her work, Angela decided to join Georgette in the pool. The water looked so warm, and Angela was beginning to get a little cold. Georgette got out of the way as Angela made a beautiful dive into the water.
When Cassandra came over later that evening to pick up Georgette, she joined them in a swim. She and Angela even gossipped about one of the old professors they had when they were in college. It looked as though Angela was ready to join the world again. It felt good to see old friends again...especially Dustin.
